We believe in giving you the freedom to make your own meal choices during the week depending on how hungry you are, so each Meal Delivery bundle contains eight, flavor-packed dishes that you can portion, savor or shovel as you see fit.

While our cuisine is global, we try to use as much local and organic produce as possible, in company with heart-healthy grains and loads of fresh herbs. Pomegranate seeds, miso, lemongrass and curry leaves will also grace your fridge regularly. Are Your Meals Frozen?
No, all of our prepared meals are delivered fresh in glass containers, tucked into an insulated Bites by Bre tote.
What is the Shelf Life of a Bites by Bre Meal?
Our meals are made same-day, lovingly packed and individually labeled with an Enjoy by date. While most meat dishes, vegetarian dishes and soups are delectable for 6 days, we ask that for your safety, you consume seafood dishes within one day of receipt. Occasionally, there will also be an avocado or fruit salad dish that will be prettiest towards the top of the week.
How Long Should I Heat Up My Meal?
For single portions (round glass containers), we recommend heating each prepared meal in the microwave for 60-90 seconds, with an understanding that seared meats, cooked to a medium temperature in our kitchen, can become overdone with prolonged time in the microwave or oven.
For 2-eater-portions (rectangular glass containers), we recommend heating each meal between 2 and 3 minutes.
How Do Menus Work?
While most Meal Delivery services offer a dizzying list of menu items each week, we prefer to put ALL of our time, love and resources into just eight dishes. This is how we can make every condiment from scratch, homemade kimchi, 7-hour braises, etc. So, instead of asking busy clients to login and magically anticipate what they might be craving, we prefer the unfussy approach: seasonal deliciousness just shows up on your doorstep. Naturally, if there's an ingredient that you just don't get along with (like a mortal fear of beets) let us know so we can be sure to omit it from your bundle.
Do You Accommodate Specific Diets or Food Allergies?
We do! Our weekly meals are naturally diabetic-friendly and low-carb, but upon request, we can accomodate gluten-free diets. We do our best to accommodate additional dietary restrictions (hey, not everyone loves brussel sprouts), but we ask that you email us before your first meal delivery to make sure we can give you exactly what you’re craving. If we can’t meet your specific needs, we’ll be happy to refer you to another local chef or nutritionist.
Unfortunately, due to the range of our global suppliers, we cannot accommodate eaters with life-threatening food allergies.
Do Your Provide Nutritional Facts for Your Meals?
Every week, our dish descriptions include a complete list of possible allergens, including dairy, wheat, eggs, shellfish, beans, peanuts and tree nuts. We also include our chef's personal cell phone number on all packages in case you have an additional ingredient inquiry.
Do I Need to Be Home for a Delivery?
While we prefer to see your beautiful face each week, we understand that life is unpredictable. So, we're happy to leave your insulated Meal Delivery tote in a hidden area (porches are perfect), where it will stay cold for 3-4 hours. Please just shoot us a text in advance, if possible, (especially in the summer months) so we can ensure that our driver brings enough ice packs.
When Do You Make Deliveries?
We make deliveries on Monday afternoons/evenings from 2:00-5:30PM. If you need a delivery made during a certain window, such as before you leave the office, please email us or text us (401-829-9313) and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
How Do I Pay?
We invoice with PayPal, for ease and security. Please refer to your Welcome Document for more specific payment information.
Where Do You Deliver To?
We lovingly deliver our fork-ready prepared meals to Providence, Pawtucket, Cranston, Warwick, Lincoln, Johnston, Scituate, Barrington, East Greenwich, and other “in between” cities in Rhode Island, as well as Seekonk and nearby Massachusetts! For one-off deliveries, such as gifts, we can also deliver to areas beyond this list. Please email or call us to inquire whether we can make an exception for your home.
Is There a Delivery Fee?
If you live on the East Side of Providence Rhode Island, the West Side or downtown, congratulations, your delivery is absolutely free!
Due to the infrastructure involved in delivering meals safely and completely chilled to the far reaches of the state, a small delivery fee is assessed for regions beyond Providence. When you sign up, we'll be happy to provide you with an exact quote, with our general rule being:
- 5-10 miles from Providence = $5-10
- 11-20 miles from Providence = $15
- 15+ miles from Providence (South Kingston, North Kingstown, Attleboro) = $20.
As we grow in size and hire more drivers, we look forward to lowering these fees. We are also thrilled to talk to you about grouping deliveries and discounting fees if you have a party of prospective clients in your neighborhood.
Can I Skip a Delivery?
Absolutely! If you need to skip a week, or a month, just contact us by the Thursday prior to your Meal Delivery day, and we'll take you off the list. If you have a travel schedule for work and want to share the calendar with us, we'll sync you up!
If, for any reason, you miss the deadline to notify us about skipping your delivery, please just let us know as soon as possible. If we've already begun preparing your food, we can work with you to find another home for your meals (pay it forward to a friend?) or freeze them for a later delivery date.
Can I Gift a Meal Delivery?
Absolutely! We'd love to help you surprise a hard-working friend, healing family member or new parent with some time. Just visit our Meal Delivery Gifts page to provide us with the lucky recipient's name, address and any known dietary needs, and we'll make it happen.
What if We Have Company?
Wonderful! We'd be honored for you to share our meals with your friends. Just contact our chef by the Thursday prior to your delivery day and we can tweak the portions for you. We're also happy to provide pricing on larger/custom food bundles, if you'd like to play the hero for an upcoming dinner party, book club meeting or corporate event.
